The Publishing Prize is an annual jury-judged award competition for advertisements, digital publications, films, websites, magazines, and more. EVENTYR NINE YARDS is a finalist in the "Brand Films B2B" category for its production for Swish titled "Once Upon a Time."
"The idea was born out of the desire to create films that demonstrate how incredibly convenient Swish is compared to historical payment methods. We were all a bit shocked to realize that Swish had only been around for just over 10 years, and the film concept was built around how we now take Swish for granted," says Annette Mörk, content producer at EVENTYR NINE YARDS.
The production was done in collaboration with the production company Favela, and the lead role was played by Emma Peters.
"We created four humorous scenes from different time periods to show how Swish has become an integral part of our daily lives. It was a really fun film production, and thanks to Swish's courage and all the talented people who contributed, the films gained wide popularity," says Annette.
The partnership with Swish began when EVENTYR NINE YARDS produced their 10th-anniversary celebration, and the campaign was an extension of that collaboration.
"For our big 10-year celebration, Eventyr Nine Yards, together with Favela, helped us create four films that, with pinpoint humor and recognition, showed just how unreasonably complicated, inconvenient, and slow life was before Swish. Brilliant, thought both us and the audience, judging by all the laughter," says Charlotta Lindblad, Head of Communications at Getswish.
The winners will be announced at the Publishing Gala on November 8th in Stockholm, and the entries are evaluated by a jury consisting of active communicators such as photographers, graphic designers, film producers, journalists, editors, and UX designers. They review, assess, and compare the competition entries, which are judged based on several criteria, including script, design, direction, and cinematography.
